In the just-concluded 2019 The 1st Xiamen International Ballet Competition, the fourth-grade students Tong Jiayi, Wu Zilu, Hao Jiaxuan and the second-grade student Song Tianxiao of The School of the National Ballet of China won the Gold Award for Junior Group A, Junior Group B, Silver Award for Junior B Group and Bronze Award for Junior A Group respectively. Hao Jiaxuan won the Outstanding Modern Dance Award for the work “Dance Just Like This” choreographed by Wang Sizheng. Yan Qingyun, a teacher of The School of the National Ballet of China, and Peng Jie, guest teacher, won the Excellent Teacher Awards. The students and teachers of The School of the National Ballet of China lived up to expectations with magnificently performance in international competition, demonstrating the artistic strength and elegance of the future ballet talents of NBC.
