After leaving Rio, the artists of National Ballet of China came to Brazil's largest city and also the most developed city in South America -- Sao Paulo. From May 29th to May 30th, they made wonderful appearances on the stage of the Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo with two performances of brilliant Chinese ballet Raise the Red Lantern. Although a torrential rain poured down ahead on the first performing day of May 30th, it did not affect the audiences' enthusiasm for Chinese ballet. All seats of Credicard Hall were occupied with almost 3,000 audiences. The arrival of National Ballet of China undoubtedly added a beautiful "Chinese red" to this modern Brazilian city!
Artists of the National Ballet of China will perform classical ballet Natalia Makarova's version of Swan Lake for Brazilian audiences for the first time on June 2nd and 3rd. Let's look forward to the interpretation of touching immortal legends of ballet by the oriental "swans" in Sao Paulo.
