From January 18th to 20th, the artists ofNational Ballet of China had presented three wonderful shows of Chinese ballet The Nutcracker (Chinese Version) in theEsplanade-Theatres on the Bay in Singapore. With the passionate performance ofall artists of National Ballet of China, the unique Chinese folk customs andtraditional culture symbols perfectly combines with the western ballet, whichhad successfully aroused a great fever for Chinese culture in Singapore. Manymainstream media such as Xinhua News Agency and Union morning paper ofSingapore widely reported the performances, and enthusiastic Singaporeanaudiences also expressed their love for the ballet on social media platforms.

On the occasion of celebrating the coming Lunar New Year, thesuccessful performances of the ballet TheNutcracker (Chinese Version) in Singapore not only bringsthe best wishes for the Spring Festival to the audience of the Lion City, butalso opens the grand curtain of the international tour of National Ballet ofChina, who is celebrating the 60th anniversary for its founding.What’s more, it also opens a new page of the cultural and artistic exchangesand common development between the two countries.
