At 4:30 pm on May 8th,2019 of Tokyo time, Director Feng Ying, who had just arrived in Tokyo, went tothe Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra along with a six-person group led by SecretaryWang Quanxing. They had a cordial communication with the Senior ExecutiveTrustee Kyoichi Ishimaru and watched the intense rehearsals of the Chinese andJapanese musicians.

Concertmaster Wang Xiaomao and musicians of the TokyoPhilharmonic Orchestra performed the music of Raise the Red Lantern.

In the rehearsal of the "Mahjong Dance" music in Raisethe Red Lantern, the Japanese musicians simulated the sound effect withChinese abacuses.

The stage production department of National Ballet of Chinaand the stage staff of Tokyo Festival Hall jointly collaborated to make goodpreparations for the coming performances.
