At 2 pm on May 8th, 2019 (Tokyo time), with the flight of the last group of performers landed at Narita International Airport, more than 120 artists from the National Ballet of China, led by the Director Feng Ying and Party Secretary Wang Quanxing, have all arrived in Tokyo. The National Ballet of China officially started its first large-scale visit and performance in Japan.
As a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China and 60th anniversary of the founding of National Ballet of China, the Company went on the first large-scale visit in Japan in May, 2019 to stage two ballets—one Chinese ballet named Raise the Red Lantern and a classical ballet Swan Lake--in the world-famous Tokyo Festival Hall that can accommodate more than 2,300 audiences from May 10th to May 13th.
The visit of the National Ballet of China is just on the eve of the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan, which has received much attention and many politicians from China and Japan have delivered their congratulations.

The working cards for the performers are prepared and waiting for their 'masters'.
All the artists from the National Ballet of China are well prepared to present the splendid Chinese ballets to the Japanese audiences. Everything is ready. Let us expect the bloom of Chinese ballet in Tokyo!
