From April 20^th to 21^st, Yimeng- A Ballet in Three Chapters which was newly created by National Ballet of China was staged in Beijing Tianqiao Theatre with strong resonance and passion of the wide audience. The who sacrificed their lives to build the “Bridge under Fire” with their flesh and blood, “The Virgin Bride” who guarded the home alone for so many years with no regret, and “Passion in Yimeng” showed the deep love and intimate relationship between the soldiers and civilians. The moving stories about the “Yimeng Red Sisters”, not only let the characters in history walk closely again to the audience of the new era, but also a number "Red Sisters" of new times on the stage were baptized by the soul and called by the Yimeng spirit.

“I hope that my performance can be closer to the real 'Yimeng Red sister', and I also hope it can arouse more gratitude and reverence of today's audience to the Red Sister and Yimeng heroes.” said sincerely by Wang Qimin, the Prima Ballerina of National Ballet of China who danced the “Bride” in The Virgin Bride.

"There is not so many wonderful ballet skills in ‘Passions of Yimeng’, but the character of ‘Sister Ying’ needs to be shown with exquisite emotions. Hope our performance could be the inheritance of to the great Yimeng spirit." expressed sincerely by Hou Shuang, an excellent dancer of National Ballet of China,  who participated in Love in Yimeng in the early time, and one of the dancers of ‘’Sister Ying” in Passions of Yimeng.

It's important to be able to bring the audience to the time of war. Thanks for the recognitions from the descendants of the Red Sisters and hope we can carry forward and inherit the Yimeng spirit through the stage art to more and more people.” said Liu Qi with many feelings, the deputy leader of dancers team and a brilliant dancer of National Ballet of China.

Having wonderful performance of dancing "Er’ni" in Bridge under Fire, the outstanding dancer Li Mengfei said, "When I am on the stage, I really put all myself into the character to feel the emotions of 'her'. I hope the character of 'Er’ni' could become flesh-and-blood, real and vivid under my interpretation. I think we are carrying forward the spirit of Yimeng by the performance, which really touched us and the audience on and off stage."

"It’s a great opportunity to play one of the roles of ‘Yimeng Red Sisters’ to experience and pass on the Yimeng spirit personally. Their feelings and the interpretation of the red sister touched the audience and deeply touched me as well." said Ning Long, the young dancer who danced the "Bride” in The Virgin Bride, with feelings as if she had experienced it herself.

The young dancer of National Ballet of China Wu Siming, who has danced “Platoon Leader” in Passions of Yimeng, said sincerely, "From the very beginning of the early creation of Yimeng, the stories of Yimeng Red Sisters have deeply rooted in my heart. The role of 'Platoon Leader' gives me a strong mission because he is the image of soldier, representing the Chinese army and the spirit of not afraid of sacrifice. I hope my interpretation in Yimeng can evoke the emotional resonance beyond art!"
