On the evening of December 31st, 2018, the Grand Theatre of Shunde Centre for Performing Arts was crowded with people. The arrival of nearly 2,000 audiences dispelled the cold of the winter night, bringing the New Year's festivity and jollification. At 8:00 pm, the romantic ballet Giselle was staged in Grand Theatre of Shunde Performing Arts Centre as the last performance of National Ballet of China in 2018. The Giselle of the night was started by the principal dancer Xu Yan and the outstanding dancer Li Wentao of National Ballet of China.
