On April 29th, 2019, the original ballet The Light of Heart by National Ballet of China was once again performed in Beijing Tianqiao Theater.

On the evening of the performance, nearly 1,000 foreign experts from the National Bureau of Foreign Experts gathered in the Beijing Tianqiao Theater to watch the wonderful performance of The Light of Heart.

Under the stage, the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Ante Simonic, and his wife, Ms. Rita Zhao, watched the performance that night. Mr. Ante Simonic said excitedly: "The performance of The Light of Heart is perfect! It is the most beautiful ballet performance I have ever seen. I sincerely hope that the artists of National Ballet of China can bring this ballet to Croatia, and bring such beautiful dance and such beautiful stories to the audience of Croatia."

On the auditorium of that evening, there was another important guest -- the director of the Palace Museum, the former director of the Dunhuang Academy, Wang Xudong who have given consultation of Dunhuang Arts for the ballet The Light of Heart. When he saw Director Feng Ying and choreographer Fei Bo after the performance, Wang Xudong could not help but say: "Thanks to National Ballet of China, thank you for bringing the Dunhuang arts to such a far place... I still remembered the scene when we first met in Dunhuang and I am so happy to see The Light of Heart on the stage today. You've combined the Chinese culture and the story of 'Dunhuang people' so well in the ballet, especially their faith in the inheritance of the ancient murals. This is the spirit of generations of 'Dunhuang people'".

After the performances in Beijing, The Light of Heart will be performed at the Shanghai Poly Theatre on May 15th to participate The 12th China Arts Festival. Let us meet in Shanghai!
