In the terrace classroom of Nujiang National Middle School, nearly a thousand students waved their hands to express "I love dancing".

At the time of parting, the buses of National Ballet of China were surrounded by enthusiastic students, and they competed to ask the dancers to sign their autographs.

This scene shocked and touched the hearts of all the staff of National Ballet of China.

The touching scene in the pictures happened on January 11th during the "Our Chinese Dream" Cultural Promotion-- National Ballet of China Enters Nujiang National Middle School public welfare performance. Maybe the innocent children have a natural desire for art, maybe the barrier of mountains makes them yearn for poetry and distance. Looking at the children's clear eyes and waving hands, the artists of National Ballet of China were filled with feelings: maybe the warm encounter between ballet and children living in the deep mountains came too late, but fortunately we have come and it's never too late to start!

Growing up during the way

The performance venue conditions were limited with no professional wood floor. We covered the cement floor with floor glue.

Everything could be used as our barre!

Along the way, we have experienced flights cancellation, trekking hundreds of kilometers of mountain roads as well as dancing in the outdoor square and in the cold auditorium… But every one of the team is still positive and optimistic to bring high-quality performances to the people of Yunnan with selfless dedication. During this tour in Yunnan the young artistic emissaries of the National Ballet of China are becoming mature.
