In 2020, "Our Chinese Dream" Cultural Promotion-- National Ballet of China Enters Lingao public welfare performances have come with the joy of the coming Lunar New Year of Gengzi. On January 11th, after arriving in Haikou, Hainan Province, the dancers team of National Ballet of China drove for an hour and a half, and came to Lingao County Government and Lingao Middle School, sending new year's greetings and blessings to the people of Lingao far away from the bustling city here.

Guarantee for the performance

       Before the arriving of the dancers team, the stage production department of NBC continuously prepared costumes, makeup, props, floor glue and other equipment to make guarantee for the performance.

The artists arrived in the early morning, laying the stage, assembling the lights and sound, preparing the clothes and cosmetics.

The tossing and turning of the road did not reduce the enthusiasm of the dancers. They who just got off the bus went straight to the "simple" stage, made makeup and finished warm-up preparations for the performance under limited conditions.

 

At 2:30 p.m. on January 11th, the dancers team of National Ballet of China brought two ballet feasts to the people of Lingao and teachers and students of Lingao middle school. The excellent performances are rich in different ballet art forms from classical to modern, from western to Chinese ballets. At the same time, Xu Gang, the assistant artistic director, general répétiteur and ballet master of National Ballet of China, and Zhang Jian, the member of the Party committee and the prima ballerina, respectively brought "ballet master classes" to the teachers and students of Lingao middle school and the people of Lingao to explain the history and development of ballet art as well as the inheritance and future of Chinese ballet.

Zhang Jian, one of the Prima Ballerinas of National Ballet of China, shared the beauty of ballet art and the its history for the audience with years of rich stage practice and experience accumulation, which is the first time for her to work as the "speaker".

At the same time of the performance in the People's Hall of Lingao, the second scene of the performance by the dancers team of National Ballet of China in Lingao middle school also opened the curtain. Xu Gang opened the door of ballet art for the audience of teachers and students in Lingao middle school with his extensive artistic accumulation, simple explanation and interesting and vivid interaction.

Nearly 20 students from Lingao middle school stepped onto the stage, and under the guidance of Xu Gang, they followed Xu Yan, the principal dancer of National Ballet of China, to learn basic ballet movements.
