The very bright starring cast of La Bayadère on the night of December 15 consisted of Prima Ballerina Zhang Jian as the bayadère "Nikiya", Premier Danceur Ma Xiaodong as the warrior "Solor" and Principal Dancer Qiu Yunting as the princess "Gamzatti". The National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra dedicated a magnificent yet delicate and moving live performance conducted by conductor Liu Ju and led by the concert master Wang Xiaomao.
