At the beginning of November, young artists of NBC once again presented the Chinese ballet classic The Red Detachment of Women at the stage of the birthplace of the story, Qionghai City, Hainan Province, which opened the prelude to the third round of residency performances of The Red Detachment of Women in Hainan.

Highlights on November 1st - 4th

In the performance on November 3rd, Gaotan, an outstanding young dancer from Hainan, danced “Hong Changqing” for the first time.

After each performance in this round, the leading roles interacted with enthusiastic audiences from all over the world in the front hall of the theater and gave them autographs and took photos with them.

Under the leadership of Zhu Yan, Director of NBC, all the dancers presented flowers to the martyrs sculpture in Memorial Park of the Red Detachment of Women.

Zhu Yan, Director of NBC, Zhou Changqiang, Secretary of Qionghai Municipal Party Committee, and Lu Haiying, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Hainan Provincial Committee, announced the opening of the premiere.

At the launching ceremony of the premiere of The Red Detachment of Women in Qionghai Grand Theater, NBC ballet master Yu Bo and dancers' representatives exchanged and interacted with the audience.

Four performers of “Qionghua” presented autographs to the audience and took photos with them.

The cast and crew visited the theme exhibition in the Memorial Park of the Red Detachment of Women. At the same time, members of the Communist Party of China also reviewed the Party oath.

The Flash Mob in the outdoor square of Qionghai Grand Theater attracted quite a few people to stop and watch.

The leading dancers’ representatives of The Red Detachment of Women shared their growth experience and artistic insights with children and student representatives in the theater.
