On November 1, under the baton of Tan Lihua, the renowned conductor and Principal Guest Conductor of National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra staged the “Echoes of Russia” themed concert in the Peking University Hall, presenting the classic works by two Russian musical giants: Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.

This concert combined the music knowledge “explanation” with music “performance”. Before each work was performed, conductor Tan Lihua introduced the sequence of the concert tracks, the creative background and artistic connotation of the work to the audience.
