Just after the first large-scale visit and performance in Japan, the National Ballet of China together brought the original Chinese ballet The Light of Heart to the 12th China Art Festival in Shanghai immediately. With the great expectation of nearly 4,000 audiences, the first two performances of The Light of Heart were staged at Shanghai Poly Grand Theater on May 15.

In order to show Dunhuang more profoundly, comprehensively and multi-dimensionally, the National Ballet of China set up a story exhibition on Dunhuang and "Dunhuang people" in the front hall of Shanghai Poly Grand Theatre, and held an open activity of news media in front of the exhibition area. Feng Ying, the Director and Artistic Director of NBC, Fei Bo, the director, scriptwriter and choreographer of The Light of Heart, and two leading actors: Cao Shuci and Ma Xiaodong, introduced the "Dunhuang" in their minds for the media friends.
