"The Gala Evening of Asia Ballet", co-sponsored by the National Ballet of China and China Arts and Entertainment Group Ltd., was successfully held on May 14^th at the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations opened in Beijing on May 15^th. "The Gala Evening of Asia Ballet" was like the window to show the diverse charm of Asian cultures and arts.

At the opening ceremony of the evening, Zhang Xu, deputy minister of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, announced the opening of the "Asian Cultural Festival".

In the following performance, National Ballet of China joined hands with ballet stars from the Universal Ballet of South Korea, the Philippine Ballet, and the Hong Kong Ballet and Guangzhou Ballet, and staged 10 wonderful ballet works of various styles, which comprehensively demonstrated the strength and characteristics of Asian ballet from various perspectives.
