As the curtain slowly fell, the Theater was full of cheers andacclaim of 'Bravo'. Nearly 3000 audiences could no longer restrain theirexcitement and gave the artists warm applause, cheers and whistles! With therepeated curtain calls, the applause remained for several minutes.

Artists from National Ballet of China played classical ballet Swan Lake of Natalia Makarova’s version in Credicard Hall in Sao Paulo at 9:00 p.m. on June 1st. Although National Ballet ofChina has visited Brazil nine years ago, it is the first time for the classicalballet Swan Lake to be staged to Brazilian audiences. Principal DancerXu Yan together with Li Wentao and other over 60 Chinese artists presented theclassical ballet to nearly 3000 audiences in Sao Paulo. It showed both the deepartistic accumulation in the past 60 years, and the strong power of theworld-class ballet troupe to the Brazilians. The graceful body lines and the marvelousinterpretation of the oriental 'swans' make the audience immerse in the worldof ballet, and gave warm applause every few minutes.

On June 3rd, the classical ballet Swan Lake willcontinue to be performed on the stage of the CredicardHall in Sao Paulo, in which Fang Mengying and Chen Zhuming will playthe 'White Swan' and the 'Prince' for the first time and continue theinterpretation of the sentimental, romantic and beautiful love story of SwanLake...
