On the occasion of celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, a series of activities were held in the National Centre for the Performing Arts, which were supported by the National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Beijing Archives Society and jointly sponsored by nine art academies and universities. In the afternoon of August 27th, part of the staff of the National Ballet of China, led by Zheng Qichao, then Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attended the grand opening ceremony in the NCPA.
