At 7:30 p.m. on May 18th, a symphonic concert gathering classical Chinese and foreign ballet segments was held at Tianqiao Theatre, the "Home court" of National Ballet of China. Led by Zhang Yi, the music director and well-known conductor, and Wang Xiaomao, the assistant music director and the concert master, the National Ballet Symphony Orchestra presented nearly 30 melodies selected from more than a dozen dance works. While giving an acoustic feast to the audience, it pushed the series of excellent performances by the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the National Ballet of China to a new climax.
