On October 12th, musicians of the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra came to Linyi and began its first study and visit in the Yimeng Red Sister Memorial Hall, which is the Party spirit education base of Yimeng, Shandong Province. It is the only special memorial that comprehensively and systematically introduces the "Red sisters" in China, and the only revolutionary memorial in China with the theme of ordinary people. Artists of National Ballet of China had come here for several times to learn and draw materials for creating Ode to the Yimeng Mountains and Yimeng- a Ballet in Three Chapters.

On October 12th and 13th, in the Linyi Grand Theatre, the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra hold two special concerts, including the theme song for The Passion Burning Years, suite of Drawing Sword, The Butterfly Lovers, and a new work Dream on The Silk Road which shows the broad mind of the new era and so on. The music which filled with the imprint of the times is still alive today, just like sweet flowers, magnificent grasslands, and all the wonderful and brilliant moments in life that can always bring infinite power to the people.

On the night of the performance in Linyi on 12th, Wang Xiaomao, assistant to the music director and the concertmaster of the orchestra, performed The Butterfly Lovers with passion. This was the first time for him to perform this classic work together with the National Ballet of China Symphony Orchestra. His superb skills and affectionate performance won warm applause and cheers from the audience.
