In 2019, we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China with great joy. At the same time, we also feel proud to welcome the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of National Ballet of China. From November 25th to December 30th, the artists of the National Ballet of China will give their best performances as the return to the audience and pay tribute to the glorious history of development. As an important cornerstone of the artistic production and practice of the National Ballet of China, NBC Symphony Orchestra will bring "Splendid 60 Years - Concert to Celebrate 60th Anniversary of the Founding of National Ballet of China" in the Concert Hall of National Centre for the Performing Arts on November 30th. Music Director Zhang Yi, Principal Conductor Huang Yi and Resident Conductor Liu Ju will join hands to perform the baton. Assistant Music Director and Concertmaster Wang Xiaomao will lead the orchestra play music selections from many classical ballet works to demonstrate the artistic strength of the orchestra in all aspects.
